Universities Australia is the peak body representing Australian universities. Their ‘Keep It Clever‘ campaign is designed to build public and industry support for government funding for the sector. The campaign highlights universities’ research achievements and how they benefit society as a whole.
Working with Canberra-based creative agency Coordinate, I supplied copy and visual content for a website, Facebook page and Twitter feed. The project involved adapting interesting research stories from more than 30 universities all around Australia to create web posts with a consistent length and tone of voice, as well as searching stock libraries for appropriate and arresting imagery. Stories range from astrophysics to sports science, medical advances to quantum computing.
In addition, for each story, I created Facebook and Twitter posts designed to stimulate click-through to the website. The client has now taken this project in-house.
